LIST  of Items Used - per picture: Lavendar stretch material for the 2 piece outfit, Moon wooden piece in the background. its a night scene so I used black background Poster board.

LIST of all Total Items Used: 1. wooden moon piece 2. lavendar stretch material  Item i added lining for the skirt pale lavendar creape linging (left over from the lavendar and lace contest) items added black poster board to see the color of the material of the ensemble better. It really highlighted that color.  Jewelry from the Silkstone collection necklace and earrings.

Your experiences: I created this 2 piece ensemble after the 1950's Christian Dior New look since the Barbies are of the 1950's I have been studying this period.  The outfit features a fitted bodice that has dart detailing and a skirt that has a cleverly made waist cincher  it is lined in a coordinating fabric of pale lavendar and has sparkly lavendar glass like slippers. after all the 1950's were about a return to glamour after the long war. so every woman wanted to look her best.
