Your experiences: The striped fabric reminded me of the tiered skirts that are so popular right now. It's the perfect size for Cissy so I built on that. I used the pipe cleaner inside the  handle for the bag. It's much sturdier than the normal butchers cord I use. The felt is the under fabric for  the  beige lace on the handbag. The beads I put on the blouse to decorate it and echoed the pattern in her earrings.The gold bracelets fit her wrist exactly.  The LOVE charm was perfect as a necklace. The heart shaped wooden piece almost looks like a ballon when I put the handle on it so I see it as Cissy at one of the parades in NYC!
