Artist Notes:
The old fashioned, Tiny Trick Or Treaters are all dressed & ready for Halloween. This is the scariest house so far! Jesse is the spider girl, an original Kelly spider costume was used, spider webs where added and topped with a big spider on top of her head. The little fairy is Lilly, she's a Paula doll with original costume, burgundy organza ribbon belt & hair tie was added. Her wings are made from 2 glittering silk butterfly wings. Nikki is the clown, she is wearing an original Kelly clown costume, patches where added to pants and a rhinestone to the top of the tie. Her hat is green open weave straw with headband and one daisy. Patty is the Pumpkin head, her costume was made from a white bed sheet (just like Mom did when we where little children) frayed at the bottom. Her pumpkin head is a styrofoam pumpkin carved out to fit her head like a hat & painted face added. She has a funny felt hat trimmed with orange satin ribbon and a ghostly charm hanging from the back. The Gypsy Pirate is Angie, her skirt was made from scratch without a pattern, is made of burgundy satin and trimmed with black fringe, closes in back with snaps. Top is original Kelly pheasant top, sash is ombre orange organza with sparkles. Her hair has been taken down from curly pigtails and transformed into a straight, flippy hair do. She wears a head scarf with tiny skulls and cross knives tied with red satin ribbon. Her lips have been painted burgundy wine. She has on 3 strands of ball beads, one has a tiny skeleton charm and one has a gold pirate coin. Wendy has chosen to be a green faced witch head. Her outfit was made from a white bed sheet also, face & arms are from a bag of  Halloween creatures. Hat is made of felt and trimmed with fall berries and a green slimy frog. The spooky house is a Barbie dollhouse, black curtains where added for spooky drama. Orange and black fuzzy chenille stems are twisted together for garland around house. A glow in the dark skeleton greets the Trick or Treaters at the front door with a plate of handmade polyclay candy corn. One light up spooky face tree is beside the house with lots of pumpkins handmade from polyclay sitting on the ground. A big ole flashing skeleton head sits on the roof with lots of spider webs and spiders crawling around with various other creepy crawlers. Little monsters are coming up in the flower box they include a witch, ghost and a devil. There are light up tombstones all around the sides of the house with one big black spooky tree. I had a blast creating this scene hope you will have as much fun seeing it. Happy Halloween!
