Blushing Brides Contest

The contest for Blushing Brides is very close.  The prize is The Lady of the Manor doll given by www.guyzanddollz.com. This is a Gold Silkstone (2007) and no longer available from Mattel.  Deadline is 5/15/07.

 

Brides need grooms, best men, maids of honor, bridesmaids the full court, mom & pop of the bride; could be bridzilla or bride of Dracula.  Could be a bride from Taiwan, India, Portugal, Philippines, or a traditional white wedding.  The artist lets their dolls tell them.  One of the hottest weddings I've ever seen was on Star Trek Deep Space Nine -- When Worf married Jadzea Dax in a traditional Klingon ceremony.  Then, on Betazed they all go nude....

 

I imagine the traditional approach is the most likely to win the Theme Award - just seems that is what people think of when they think of weddings and from our previous contests that is what I've seen in all the contests.

 

The Lady of the Manor doll given by www.guyzanddollz.com for the Best of Show Award will be a combination of points.

 

Since there are dolls that will be repainted, rerooted, or  neither -- it is important to note that in the final tally, these points will not be accrued.  

 

The winning dolls are selected by

judge's votes -- they vote through a separate panel.

popular votes -- members and others vote here

sponsor's vote -- Guyzanddollz will have special votes to add to the tallies.

 

Anyone can win.

 

Be sure to read all of the contest rules and use the tutorial for your photos -- they MUST be sent in the proper format or additional fees will be added to your entry.

 

All entry fees must be paid prior to 5/14/07 -- deadline is 5/15/07 and it is coming up in just a few weeks.

 

You may enter as many dolls as you want.  Each must be on a separate form with the appropriate photos. Each entry costs one credit.
